Have u noticed how some nights are the longest?
Soaked in memories that make moments feels like hours and not in a good way…u sit up like a zombie, tired of monkeying around on ur fone, checking the fridge for the fourth time just to find out nothing has changed since ur last visit to the bowl of leftover pasta, u come back to bed and u toss and u turn, watching the tedious journey of the seconds hand on ur wall clock from 37 to thiiiiirtyeight seconds on the 25th minute in the 3rd hour since ur head hit the pillow. And u sigh. The emptiness begins expanding the moments into years.
And yet, days go by so quickly.
